“My Inner Voice is A Scream”
Have you ever felt like the weight of the world was on your shoulders? Like, every responsibility was yours, even though you had help? Like you couldn't get a break, even when you were on one?
This is how I felt during this painting. I started while I was pregnant with my son, but didn't finish it until after he was born. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. He was, and still is, such a clinger. Minutes in, he'd start to cry- wail more like it- and although he was in Papa's arms, he wasn't happy.
All I wanted was my "therapy session"; a moment... time to release that energy. But, he wasn't having it. And, of course, I couldn't ignore him. So, as he wailed, so did I, with paint... And I left it all on this canvas.
I completed this minutes at a time...
So, when you need that release, take a few minutes like 1 did, and give it the energy it needs. It can take it, it actually lives for it!
